Bradshaw, Wm., Boot & Shoemaker, 11 Joseph Street, Belfast

 April 1870

An explosion of gas took place in the house of Mr. William Bradshaw, Combermere Street. It appears that an escape took place from the metre. The explosion occurred in the parlour while Mr. Bradshaw was reading.  He was severely injured around the face and upper body and was in a critical condition.
